Summer Silent 10 Kingdom Rampage

Queue is now up, first come first served, post here and in the Game Creator queue.

You can pick dispersed, but not non-dispersed in the same capital region (eg, not both Elves and Druid).

Silent is the format where you know who has which kingdom, but there is no diplomacy allowed.

You can change your selection anytime up until the game forms, but do so again both here and in the queue.

Go get 'em!
AN please

Sorry, does this mean the TY can or cannot be selected after RD has been chosen?

TY can be selected
In the other similar game going, we have three dispersed including Pirates and Underworld and Red Dragon.  It just means there will be multiple "open" regions and possibly three regions with two capitals.

It's not recommended to have multiple dispersed in a game. The reason why is that the game's turn 0 seed values are not configured to ensure such a combination of kingdoms within a game.

When Ry Vor and I were discussing the design for The Choosing more than a year ago, we had to examine all of the varying possibilities of pc generation (since there's a random number of towns/villages in a region) and evaluated whether certain kingdom combinations can fit on the map. One problem area was Amberland since there's quite a few kingdoms that start off with a pc in region 5 and we had to make adjustments to ensure that the "normal" kingdom assortment works properly.

If you go "off-grid" and allow more than one dispersed in it's category (D1: Underworld or Pirate, D2: Red Dragon or Tyrant), you'll be risking the odds that a game may not be created properly because not all of the kingdoms may fit in a given region.

So please, no more games where you have more than two dispersed kingdoms.
I do not think there is any combination of the 4 dispersed kingdoms starting together that there are not enough neutral PCs to allow for starting towns and villages in regions. The game is not so fragile it cannot handle 2 extra kingdoms. Also smart players should avoid regions it could happen in out of there own need to survive in the game. Nobody should likely take IL/RA if both RD and TY are in the game. The full random option of the creation gui is more likely to cause false starts than allowing all dispersed. Your current biggest risk of a game not being created correctly is when players draft on the forum then fill in there draft results on the game creator gui. Upto 13 chances for a mistake to happen. The 13th is the game could be set wrong to begin with i.e. Random cities or victory conditions
