I'm still hoping Uncle Mike and I can come to a reasonable solution, I don't think we are that far apart. I'm also not dropping him from his games at this point.

OK, with that said, may I help out pro bono? I am studying to be a patent agent and am a Intellectual Property Professional. While my expertise is meager compared to a lawyer, my colleagues are lawyers. And quite supportive of my personal endeavors (way too difficult to expalin....suffice to say that I do the dirty work they do not want to do). There is no such thing as an agreement that cannot be written in a way to resolve such issues. Which tells me there is a sticking point (there usually is). And in such situations, lawyers charge outrageous amounts of money to resolve. Enter a motivated me. There truly is a potential win win here (as evidenced by your response and my experience). Would you be willing to share with me the details? I would, in return, be willing to supply you the best advice I can, (Warning: While I hold many patents and have much chemical experience, this type of intellectual property is relatively new), I am willing to adjust the agreement as directed by you and will advise you to the best of my ability (meager but free).
The order validation system is awesome! My reinforcements thank you!
Thanks Beatific,
Send a personal message to Uncle Mike and see what he says. I just don't want to get into a big exchange on the forum and appreciate Uncle Mike hasn't either.
Rick and I were able to work something out so this prototype game is back on !!!
Turn 0 files will be sent out on Friday, Nov 14.
There are currently 16 players for this game (Rick is playing the Druid kingdom). I have openings for a few more players if anyone else would like to join.
Barbarian (starts in Northern Mists)
Halfling (starts in Runnimede though either Gnome or Underworld would have to go or start elsewhere)
Nomad (starts in Southern Sands)
Paladin (starts in Amberland though either Giant or Warlock would have to go or start elsewhere)
Swampmen (spread out but mainly in Eastern Steppes)
Urik (starts in Arcania)
Westmen (starts in Torvale but either Ancient Ones or Troll would have to go or start elsewhere)
Keep in mind that these 1st Cycle kingdoms have no special abilities other than the Halfling that can trade food/gold more efficiently. I don't have time to add kingdom abilities other than the Halfling's for this game though I may make a few quick changes to make up for some things (e.g., Barbarian gets an extra brigade rather than the Sword of Alvinitar).
If any of the current 15 players wish to change their selections to one of the above then that's ok too but the deadline for signing up for this game (or switching kingdoms) is Thursday Nov 13 at noon EST since I'll need some time to set things up for this game.
This game will also be the first one to offer the new SVC so read up on that if you can.
Glad to hear the playtest is back on.
Sounds like great progress for the game.
Thanks!
Switch me to the Halflings.
Best. Day. Ever.
Urik Please

Paladin please

I still want WI. Looked at the BA but rather give WI a try of course going to crappy with a BA player. Hopefully someone I can work with.
Also BA has an order 119 that I think is getting changed soon.
