Chatbot for new players? - Brekk - 02-14-2026 Do you think a chatbot here on the forum with rules would be useful for new players? Sorry, what is a chatbot. Like a AI thing you can ask questions? Yes. I have tried this in the past, but AI just wasn't able to handle the rulebook. I've found it's much better now and am giving it a second go. It seems rather impressive so far; in fact, it has pointed out several things that were missed or don't make sense, so I will give it another go! That would be a super good tool. I tend to learn the hard way! The old Alamaze was alot of tribal knowledge. you could ambush then teleport when I first started for example. RE: Chatbot for new players? - davekuyk - 02-16-2026 I would be concerned when the AI was incorrect. The rulebook itself, for example, is incorrect in numerous places. If a player asks a chatbot and gets an incorrect answer that would make that player less likely to trust it in the future. Dave, while I agree that is a fundamentally different question. I know where the rules differ from reality, at least to a degree but the tool is a good one. |
