What gives? - Windstar - 05-15-2026

So, in my game, my opponent had two army groups at two different towns. I could see his stuff by the reconnaissance of my PC (basically AG and the leader of the group only). I did two domes of invincibility which apparently worked. However, now at those two locations is a question mark and only the names of those groups. There is also no help from regional intelligence, as it says that no one is in my region. What gives? Did he do greater masking? If so, why?

Do the PCs report the presence of those groups?

Yes. It says that the 1st and the 3rd groups are there, but no information beyond that.

I found the groups in question. They were in a different region. But this still doesn't explain the question marks.

Let me see if I understand:

Last Turn

*You had two army groups at two PCs you controlled. These were not masked, as you knew the leader and size (army group).
*You cast two domes - one for each PC

This turn

*You still control these two PCs
*You see the groups on your map as question marks

Is the above correct?

Some questions:

*Are the PCs themselves reporting the groups? If they are masked, your PCs would still report them present and masked.
*Did you get a report that the groups (either or both) attempted to attack the PCs?
*Did you do any other actions, such as divinations or agent actions that involved these groups?
