Game has been created in the Game Queue. Remember you need to join the game there when the draft is complete.

Loren, there is a Duel setup for you as well, I believe Wookie created it. That has to be joined and you may invite someone to Duel. Perhaps either a Mentor or the other new player Gaius.

Loren and I have gotten in touch and his duel should begin as soon as we select kingdoms.

I found the portal for joining games - done.

Now I must choose a faction! Any suggestions?

I am leaning towards one of Halflings, Dwarves, or Druids... though Rangers, Cimmerians, and Pirates interest me as well!

Regarding choosing a region: I imagine faction will dictate my best choice here. Any tips about playing in a center position vs one on the side? Zanthia looks strong for Dwarves, for example - but so do Darkover and Nyvaria!

Here's something to consider. You are choosing first, which means you choose either a race to play or a region in which to play. However, it is a snake draft, which means your second choice will be made after everyone else. Thus if you choose, say the Dwarves, by the time it gets back to you all the regions will have been chosen, and you'll be stuck with whatever is left.

Therefore, I would suggest choosing the region you want first. Then, when it gets back to you, you'll have 13 different races to choose from, and you'll be able to pick the one that best fits the region.

If you need one more player to get this game starting, I'm in. But if there are other new players wanting to get into this, I can pass. If you want to include me, I take spot #2.
