Thanks to all for a fun contest!

I was lucky in that Zamora was unclaimed and quickly secured that second region! However the friendly Free Traders employed the p2 from the sighting in Mythgar and a mighty Giant invasion commenced from untamed lands on turn 6 ending off with the big guys landing on my hidden cap and attacking. The saving grace was that I had built up the cap to a respectable fortress and the GI just missed overcoming the defenses, suffering heavy losses. With my counter invasion already underway, the GI position eventually became untenable. As is always the case when in an early conflict, I then rushed to try to level up wizards and "catch up" having seen many lvl 7 wizard announcements. However, opportunity again knocked when the Free Trader dropped after seemingly coming into conflict with their northern neighbours and I quickly moved on both stormgate with my group and Pellinor with emissaries. I saw that the GN had done the same in Pellinor and did my best to protect myself from and stymie my Gnomish neighbours and did just enough to pull off the win.

I would love to hear about some of the other positions and conflicts around the board.

Just a thread to place comments, point out bugs, and other such.

I have read that the Pit Fiend wall of flame effect works on both offence and defense. It also works against flying creatures. 

Does anyone know if the effect works against PCs?
