Most brigades destroyed?
#1
I'll run a contest, with a prize (my choice but it will be a real prize value $20+) -
Post your battle with the highest number of brigades destroyed in a single battle (either yours or the enemy not combined).
Most brigades before 3/31 midnight wins,

I'll start 26. (post death/destroy) .I'll post once the game ends. But that's the base, ok.

You guys don't want a prize? $20 amazon gift card? 6 pack of beer from Boulevard brewing in KC shipped to your door? Something like that.
He had more brigades and in forest. I had better leaders, artifacts, brigades and crack the sky as his wizards (two level 6s teleported away). I also had another group that summoned death against him (reducing brigades from 29 to 26).

Standard Battle Plan Hold At All Costs

Rumbling by the 2nd Druid Hill Giants caused fear among the ranks of their enemy. The 2nd
Illusionist morale was boosted due to the valor of the Minotaur brigades. In the first
hour of morning, with a sweeping gesture from its black cloaked commander, the 2nd
Illusionist army group advanced upon the defensive position of the 2nd Druid army group
commanded by Major General Sagiterian. Aware of the political situation that had declared
the Illusionist to be treated as an enemy of their interests, the Druid troops were
noticably energized and gained a morale boost as they prepared to meet their declared
enemy! As the attackers crossed the dark forest, the battle began.

- Long Range Missilers -

Long range missile fire from both sides was not a significant factor in the battle.

- Short Range Missilers -

The short range Illusionist wild maned javeliners and the varied missile troops including
even birds of prey swooping down of the Druid force initiated their attack. The
Illusionist ranks inflicted light damage upon the Druid ranks in return, the Druid
inflicted minor casualties to their foes.

- Magic -

Illusionist mages dismounted barely past where the defensive missiles were falling and
began an incomprehensible incantation. Servant of Styx's presence was evident. Ice blasts
shot forth from his position. Power-8 wizard Servant of Styx glowered intently and issued
indecipherable utterances. Cloaked hood to foot and masked in blue unleashed an awesome
array of magical effects, the combination of which has seldom been matched. The sky above
seemed to crack asunder, causing great fear among the enemy ranks. Then from the sky
fissure there issued strong tornado winds, down upon the enemy. From this awesome display,
the enemy was thrown into chaos, inhibiting their ability to retreat. Ekliar Tulistar
likewise had his presence be seen in similar manner. Power-5 wizard Ekliar Tulistar began
sorcerous incantations in an unknown tongue. A light sparkling mist seemed to fall briefly
over the troops, and then they grew clearly more intrepid. Zalkalzar also let his presence
be seen in like manner. Power-3 wizard Zalkalzar incanted in a low forceful tone. With a
dazzling display of images in the air, the leader of the opposing force is mezmorized and
cannot move! The Illusionist ranks caused noticable losses upon the Druid ranks in return,
the Druid imposed negligible casualties to their foes.

- Artifact -

By raising Anglakel, Sword from the Sky, Illusionist Warlord Jamer the Bloody infused his
troops with boldness and caused alarm in the minds of the Druid leaders as the magical
sword slew enemy forces. Illusionist Warlord Jamer the Bloody displayed the Axe of Farin
for all to see, his troops thus encouraged multiplied their efforts and the enemy's
leaders quaked as the magical axe slew enemy forces. By raising Elan, the Flaming Sword of
the North, Illusionist Warlord Jamer the Bloody infused his troops with boldness and
caused alarm in the minds of the Druid leaders as the mighty sword slew enemy forces. By
raising the Golden Spear of Lerix, Illusionist Warlord Jamer the Bloody infused his troops
with boldness while the Druid leaders grew concerned as the magical spear slew enemy
forces. By raising the Great Axe of Hurblind, Illusionist Warlord Jamer the Bloody
inspired his force greatly and sought out the Druid leaders as the magical axe slew enemy
forces. By raising the Morning Star of Torag, Illusionist Warlord Jamer the Bloody infused
his troops with boldness and caused alarm in the minds of the Druid leaders as the magical
mace slew enemy forces. By raising Narsil, Flame of the West, Illusionist Warlord Jamer
the Bloody infused his troops with boldness and caused alarm in the minds of the Druid
leaders as the magical sword slew enemy forces.

- Charge -

All had gone according to plan thus far for the Illusionist commanders. They now looked to
strike for a decisive victory. Now Warlord Jamer the Bloody beckoned the Illusionist light
cavalry down upon the elephants and rhinos were among the riders of the Druid. The
Illusionist forces imposed significant damage upon the Druid lines while the Druid imposed
minor losses to their enemy.

- Melee -

Now the time had come for the main body of each force to clash. The Illusionist quick but
lightly armed warriors confronted the Druid scantily clad footmen to determine the outcome
of the battle. The Illusionist forces dealt out tremendous casualties upon the Druid lines
in response, the Druid imposed light damage against the enemy.

- Conclusion -

At this moment in the struggle, losses suffered by the 2nd Druid had gone beyond the
original threshold planned. As a withdrawal was attempted, the field commanders of the 2nd
Druid assigned the duties of relaying withdrawal commands were dismayed as the effects of
the enemy's mesmerizing magic prevented their comrades from retreating as ordered. To
their credit, the 2nd Druid forces continued to fight as trained. Sadly, as the omens of
the day foretold, the Druid could not extricate themselves from the dire moment: they were
destroyed. Druid casualties were put at 100%. The group was destroyed! Illusionist
casualties were put at 3.11%. All Illusionist leaders survived the battle. All the
Illusionist wizards survived the fray. The troops are anxious for further glory: morale is
up! For defeating the 2nd Druid, the 2nd Illusionist has acquired Crystal of Seeing as
spoils of war! For defeating the 2nd Druid, the 2nd Illusionist has acquired Palantir
Phonis as spoils of war!

I am going to post the battle where Wookie killed all my Amazon elites, just because no one want to play my game.

Hugs,

Very impressive, especially the light losses of IL.  What did all of the multipliers do for your force?  It had to be over200%?.

I don't save my old turns unfortunately, or else I would contribute.  Painted and I did have a couple of nice battles, TY vs RD and EL vs GN.  I had one game with Brek I think where I cast 4 summon deaths on a very nice GN army, then pretty much wiped it out with a division.  Also wiped out a very large RD army with the SA, may have also been brek.

Yellow Beard and I recently had a nice battle with 8 groups in which we had 8 summon death spells as I recall.  He had DU and I had UN.  I had one group elsewhere or it would have been 9 summon deaths.  I had a group with 19 brigades that ended with 1 vet hill giant with something like 49.6% damage.  It was one of the more interesting fights of the past year.  I was outnumbered in units and wizards but all of the groups survived.  There were a lot of separate fights within the same square between the 8 groups.

Yes, Wookie I had more than 100% in artifacts, fear, valor from minotaurs and a spell, plus forged stuff.

That 1 hill giant left with 7 artifacts!  Sad

It was pretty epic!

I suppose you could call that a rather well endowed Hill giant?
