Magic - Some Players' Favorite Format
This is the Magic (3 player team) format for 12 kingdoms where communication is restricted to your own team, and only a team victory - 6 regions - is possible. This is Feudal Chivalry meaning the least experienced team on podium appearances will choose kingdoms first, and non-podium positions get +25,000 gold.
The teams available to be chosen will be:
1. Elves, Gnomes, Giants
2. Witchlord, Troll, Demon Princes
3. Sorcerer, Black Dragon, Dwarves
4. Warlock, Red Dragon, Dark Elves
With the caveat being, a team may substitute one kingdom for an unselected kingdom, which here are the Underworld, Ranger, and Ancient Ones. So the team choosing first may sub out one kingdom for one of those 3. If they do, team choosing 2nd can sub out one for one of the two remaining unassigned. Etc. This will require a second check with signup to see if your unselected is still available and if so you get it (you can't fish to see if there were changes). Indicate which kingdom you are dropping to pick up the unassigned, when the time comes.
Sign up here with your team, or sign up as an individual to say you are game to join a team. This is another good opportunity for newer players to learn from an experienced player, and your inexperience helps your team in selection as well as your starting gold. You don't claim kingdoms at this point. This will be a normal pace game (M-F-T).
Sign up by posting your interest here, and if you can, indicate if you are to be, or are willing to become the team captain, meaning you will lead the draft for your team and be the likely leader on the team in forming strategy. Hoping we get at least one non-podium player on each team.
