I want to play a fast game. Like really really fast. Like multiple turns per day. Players vote and agree on pauses to let real life do it's thing. I can imagine something where you would start on Sat morning and play several turns with the turns being processed every hour or two - or possibly even faster. As the game progresses it might go to a couple of turns per night and then maybe a burst again during the weekend.
To make this fully player controlled we need a checkbox on the order submission page "These are my final orders for the turn". If every player submits and checks the box, the turn could be processed automatically.
Anonymous would be fine, but I can imagine diplomacy would add an extra layer of involvement. Since everyone is relying on everyone else to submit, maybe a smaller number of players would be good. I've always wondered why 10 players (no overlap on regions) isn't the default format for Alamaze. So 10 would be a good starting point. But anything between 6-10 would be ok I think.
Does anyone think this would be fun?
