Gentlemen (and ladies),
Don't know if there's any interest remaining in the Warlords format, but I'm game for a new Accelerated Anonymous Warlords. Would run Wednesday/Saturday; no contact between players (including collusion on HC); victory only with control of six regions or concession of other players. Draft conducted by either HH or LD...with their consent, of course.
Needless to say, I'm in.
Morgan Kane.

I thought we had an impending (post-thanksgiving) game with you, JF and myself to replace the debacle that was our last Warlords. If that holds then we only need one more.
JF?

With this gang it would be best to enlist a Warlords Vet.

I'll do it but only if all agree to stay in to the end of the game regardless of how badly they are doing.

The new accepted rules are no drops before T17 on penalty of a ban from the format and you must announce your drop to all in the game as soon as you make that decision. I would be happy to extend that Turn minimum for this game but the idea of slogging along until T40 with a completely unviable set of kingdoms, twice a week evokes some reticence.
Dupont is there another minimum turn number that you would find acceptable? How about T23 for this game?

Well, here's the thing. There are four positions - often it pairs up as two one on one fights. If somebody gets the advantage over the other - then that person drops - it sort of gives that person the win. That's what's happened in 38 and I'm not that keen on it. I'd be prepared to go to turn T28 for the minimum drop, but I really don't want a repeat of Game 38.

I am kind of changing my mind about warlords games and leaning more towards the DuPont style vs the dropping when your out of it. Like DuPont pointed out it is only 4 players so even if your crushed when you drop your kind of giving the game to the guy you were fighting. But the flip side is also true when you drop and announce it is almost like sending a message to the other players gang up on this guy quick before he wins. Then the winning player is suddenly at a disadvantage not from a game mechanic but from a players actions outside the game.
Short answer I am in for the long hall

I think I'm going to sit this one out. I don't drop easy but I have commitment issues. I'm picturing dreading having to fill out six turns a week for 5 months in a game I'm not enjoying and it's too much of a risk for me.
