Here is my suggestion for drafting. Captains do the drafting. Standard A, B, C, D picking order.

A: 1, 8, 10
B: 2, 7, 11
C: 3, 5, 12
D: 4, 6, 9

Captains e-mail me (AlamazeHH at gmail dot com) with their preference list for the picking order. First choices are allocated, ties are randomized and then loser waterfalls down the preference list (with uncontested choices and the randomized winner being allocated their first preferences).

Then, we privately draft by Zone. Once all Zones are picked, the Captains unveil their teams. (Normally I would suggest Anon, but for this first match where there might be interest in following the game, public might be better... but I leave it up to the players.)

Upon unveiling, each Captain can then privately e-mail me with ONE Kingdom substitution out of their three Zones. Then there is another reveal and everyone is locked.

Standard house rules would apply:

1) Ally declarations, trades, and gifts are only allowed between your own three Kingdoms
2) Enemies can be freely declared, but you cannot later change that Kingdom's enemy status, unless it is a teammate
3) No HC issues are allowed to help another team's Kingdoms
4) All HC issues must be by SECRET ballot, and if a player accidentally proposes an open ballot issue, all players must abstain on that vote (i.e. it fails)
5) No drops before T15 (i.e. final orders issued on T15, per Rick's request)
6) Notify everyone as soon as you decide to drop, rather than allowing the computer to do it
7) No sending messages to other players by using new emissary names

Do I understand this correctly. Everyone will know the kingdoms of the other team and who is playing them?

Do we normally 1) not know that team black selected for example 10, d1, d2?

It is just a proposal, seeing how this is the first Third Cycle game and people might want to "watch" in the forums.
