I'm pleased with Alamaze 3rd Cycle. I think players have come around on some of the controversial items like having to be heroic for a brigade to become Elite. I think also The Choosing is still difficult choices zone by zone. I think players like HP's not dying, high level agent teams surviving bad die rolls, the Companions, seeing the new tactics, spells, traits, encounters like the Princess or the Green Dragon mates.
I am trying to address an Alamaze tutorial, and also look at a request to do a physical game (as in board or card game).
Easiest for me is maybe not what most would expect, but a complicated, expensive board game, capturing much of Alamaze. But I am trying to draw it down to a card game with dragon dice supplements. Something easily mobile to bring on a plane or whisk over to your friend's.
Basically going for a mainly card game for from 2 to 4 players with standard and advanced rules. Each of four initial kingdoms would have their unique pre-built deck, and a generic deck with PC's, encounters, and some characters, artifacts, bonuses as well.
