Hi Ohman!
To join a new game, you should join one of the 'open' games in the "New Game Sign-up" section of the forum. Currently, we have a full 12-man diplomacy, an Alliance game, and a confederation/warlords forming. The 12 man diplomacy is the standard mode of Alamaze, where twelve players play one kingdom no communication is restricted. The alliance game is where four teams of three players are bound by an alliance. You win as a team, and your communication is restricted to your team only. Confederation is where 6 players each play two kingdoms (Silent). Warlords is where 4 players each play three kingdoms (Anonymous). Not sure how acquainted you are with Alamaze, but the 12 player diplomacy would be the be the most 'forgiving' game mode, where you can receive help from the other players and also use diplomacy to keep yourself safe. To join the full diplomacy game, simply post your kingdom selection in the thread. To join the Alliance game or Confederation/Warlords game, post "I'm in" in the thread. The Full-On Diplomacy game sign-up is titled: "Full-On Diplomacy New Kingdoms Preferred," it is the thread at the very top of the New Game Sign-up page. The Alliance game's thread is titled: "Form Your Alliance! Call to Arms!" It is the second thread from the top, below the Full-on Diplomacy. Other players that join will be paired to make up an alliance with you if you join by yourself (not posting with a pre-made team). Finally, if you feel up to joining the confederation/warlords contest, you can by posting in the "New Confederation or Warlords" thread, which is the second thread from the top under "normal threads," right below this one. Goodluck! Let me know if I can help you further.
