3rd cycle questions

Hey all, I just got into my 1st 3rd edition game and had a few questions.

1) Are destroy population center spells gone, I do not see them on my spell list and was wondering if my list is incomplete or if the spells were removed?

2) How close are the player aids numbers listed from 2nd cycle to 3rd?  For example, is the 330 calculator kind of close when figuring out the odds of this order working?

3)Any feedback on the kingdom customization would be great.  Some choices seem really interesting, but are there some good traits that are good but easily overlooked?

1)all removed for Meteor Strike... works the same but you need to have a brigade to perform... 4k plus 2k per level of the wizard over 5.
2) 330 is fine except there are traits. Traits of Ruthless and Order have the effect of a governor using 310.
3) Not sure why anyone wouldn't take influence and a governor but if you have more emissaries you could look at the glyph of protection if you feel you would be an early target. The Palantir is nice and everyone loves gold.

On the customization options, lots of others are often taken, depending on kingdom.  Frequent choices include Valyrian Steel, Champion Stallions, Scrying Mirror, Onyx Amulet, and several others come up based on circumstance.  I would hope players consider their position, neighbors, strategy when doing customization.  BTW, I would always do customization on turn 1, and likely wouldn't do ESO choices until turn 3.
