I do as well. I can not always use the GUI to pull up my turn when I am away from wifi

I'd prefer the e-mailed version to continue, especially since I presume it will be automated anyway.

Well, we have to stop emailing turns at some point when the game is upgraded to be more like Fall of Rome where the player logs in to access all of their kingdom information online (and our current kingdom turn report no longer exists). For example, a player would press a button or icon on the webpage and it'll bring you to the appropriate section for your kingdom information (e.g., an army-like icon to jump to the group page showing your groups, leaders, brigades, etc.).

That's still a ways away but now that the server has been upgraded to have the proper foundation for such an improvement to the game, we can start thinking about how to advance everything into becoming more like Fall of Rome which didn't have turns emailed out to the players (they just logged in).

About sharing info among teammates, how did the Fall of Rome people do that? Copy-n-paste from the webpage to an email to their teammate? We're just starting to look into all of these things as we move forward into 2017 and how the game will evolve into being better than it is today.

All browsers allow you to save the webpage if you want. Each one is different on how to do it but go under Settings and look for File or Save As. If not then you may always right click on the page itself and choose Save As and you'll have a copy of the online kingdom turn report on your local device.

Thanks Atuan, and go ahead the 11 that are in and send ASAP your selections to him so when we get the 12th we will be ready to go.  Again, if you pick 7th, send 7 kingdoms in order of preference to Atuan.

Can we randomize the draft order? The race to signup is a bit silly.

Don't care if turn is downloaded or not, but please send an e-mail with link to results when the game/turn is run and the results are available.

Well, under the past/current system, results are available within 5 minutes of deadline 99% of the time.  More likely we would send an email if they aren't available when expected.

On the first point, I have suggested alternatives including random and lowest Valhalla to highest, and neither were popular, and in fact were upsetting to players who thought they "finally" got first choice.

If there is a player consensus on a different way to determine draft order, tell us.

does anyone have an old set of D & D dice. They have 12, 10, 8, 6, and 4 sided. randomly list the players from 1 thru 12, then start rolling. After first roll both 11 and 12 become an 11, then drop down to 10 sided, and continue. Ie if 7 gets first pick then 8 becomes the new 7 and so on. Old timer here.
