Very fast game.
1 BL Son of Conan 14,455 16,905
2 NO Wayde 9,780 12,205
3 CI Vball Michael 8,680 11,205
4 AM Ohman the Heartless 6,260 8,260
5 AT DuPont 4,400 6,750
Playing the Black Dragons, I was not sure what would be my second region, so I went for Amberland and then Oakendell and just prayed others would go other directions. CI and NO took their regions on turn 3 and then the rest of us took our first regions on turn 4. But the AT (DuPont) moved quickly and got his second region on turn 6 (Eastern and Synisvania). NO took Arcania on turn 7 and I was flooding Oakendell while hiring priestesses. On Turn 8 DuPont took Talking Mountains and declared CI enemy. That was quick and scary - 3 regions by turn 8. And the CI moved on the High Council to denigrate the AT in Northern Mists. Looks like DuPont could have 4 regions by turn 10. I took my second region and then started looking at the Atlantian's regions (I figure DuPont is busy up north and he has already declared CI and NO enemies so he can't declare me one). At the end of turn 10, I am ready to go. 11 emissaries, 2 armies, good wizards, sitting at NN to recruit and move. Turn 11, I go to every PC in Eastern. On turn 12, I take Eastern Steppes. Also Talking Mountains go neutral. Atlantians no longer in danger of a quick win. But my emissaries can reach Synisvania. So, on turn 13 I move all in. Easy flip of the region on turn 14 and declare the Rex. The Amazons did move into Avalon on T13, but I slept the first Prince and then the second Prince got captured trying to take the city. Some emissaries did move into Amberland on turn 14.
Thank you all for the fun welcome back.
