Add the brigades the kingdom starts with and you definitely have a military kingdom. I have never played the TY before but the spell list is limited now. Having the option for 6 groups in close allows for maximizing region coverage. So far you have to scour your region quickly because the new brigades mean you need resources!

This is a good post and again, I didn't see how players matched kingdoms with regions in this first game.  But part of the fun should be imagining how kingdoms will perform in certain regions, and either choosing regions to accentuate strengths or to compensate for weaknesses.  Again, the intention is that the regions themselves will have different character and it could be selecting a region may be preferred over selecting a kingdom in games where a player can select one or the other in a snake draft, which was the intention.

In theory this is right. But it was filling up so fast, I just quickly grabbed a good kingdom and a region I thought might complement it. In the future, as we know things better, we can match even better.
Dark Elves have a couple of take-aways, but they were pretty strong, so maybe that will be for the good.
As I look over everything, it seems that military will be most important. That will be a good swing away from dominant magic. Then, if it is too much, we can swing back a bit.
Nice job team.

It makes the game more fun and 7 points isn't enough when considering that the cost of items were likewise raised from The Choosing's levels (which makes 7 points nearly the same as 3 points without the price increase). At 10 points, there will be more freedom of choice and distinction between games without ruining balance. Give 10 points a chance before changing it.

Have to agree with UM. With the higher costs, 10 points does not seem too high.
Is everyone going to take Bazaar and Temple? Seems like everyone should, but maybe that's just me.

I agree most kingdoms should take both

Omg  not this again!!!!   Hahaha

Suggestion for future: Limit the PC improvement for "hidden" PCs. For instance... building a Port at a hidden coastal town should probably not be allowed.

Attached is the new turn 0 section that I just made to include regions...

This is related to there being 10 points instead of 7.  Always I try for making hard choices, but at 10 points there will be some bargains at 2 point buys.  As in The Choosing, if everyone takes Expert Administration, then it really isn't customization, is it? Also, the Dynasty choice was supposed to be taking all your customization points to choose it. Anyway, the ticklish choices will be diminished at 10 points, but again, more is better I suppose.

Again, I don't know the kingdom, capital region.  But this can happen.  You'll have fleets in your capital region if it has a sea, but not fleets in every sea you may possibly have a starting PC in.  You obviously can build fleets there, however.

And if you have a large military like the Tyrant, with capital region with a sea, you may well not have enough fleets to transport your fleets without building.

Somewhat related, there are multiple setups for starting PC's for each zone.  For example, from the Crown Islands, the second town depending on the random setup selected may be in Darkover, Krynn or Triumvia.

I double checked this just in case. The 1SA starts off with 1 Sacred Order regular, 1 Northmen regular, and 1 Zealot regular. That's 3 brigades total. By selecting region 5 (Triumvia), your 1SA got a kingdom veteran brigade. That's 4 brigades total. The program automatically added a fleet to The Tempest for you (since your capital is at sea area KN) which was why you now have 4 fleets which is enough to move your 4-brigade 1SA group. So everything is good.

Mine is good, I just misread info. About which sea I was in. Ryvor showed me.  Thanks Mike.
