Nope, I think any kingdom who isn’t engaged early has a potential chance at the win. Just worked out this way this time. If the DE would have been attacked early before he had a chance to get those armies up, COULD of been a different story. Like every game to many variables to say they are the strongest yet. Imo

I agree. Any kingdom left alone in a capital region should do well. DE is rather vulnerable to an early military push. In this case if I remember DE even with limited scouting ability got the region on T3. That is not that likely for a capital region.

If something was going to be changed for DE I would remove there ability to ignor enemy declaration and raise an enemy region to friendly. With demonic enamor. I did not like this in 3rd cycle either

Our developer is generous with his time, but is not free.  We will see how we do in the Spring as regards a potential update in the Summer.  So I am beginning a list of potential changes and additions to Maelstrom.  I would really like to make a couple changes ASAP that are really corrections to the design intent, but if we do, we will likely give two weeks notice to the in-progress game before making the change.

I'll post the final status points.  Congratulations to the top guns.  I waited too long to make a move but the build up was fun.  It sure is handy to have the bounty spell in Maelsrtom.
