battle question

my group was attacked with determined setting...I did wall of flame against that group.
the group did not pass thru the wall,
any reasons why it failed to do so?
not sure of leadership on his side stopped it or what.

No, a wall can only be pass through on a determined attack, any other level attack will stop the unit before it goes through. So he attacked at a lvl 1 or 2 or defended. That’s why

From the spell description:

This wall of flame prevents attacks from all but the most determined attackers (TAC 3). Determined attackers will suffer significant damage crossing the wall. Missile damage is still possible however with a wall of fire if either side attacks on a TAC 3. A wall of fire will only prevent combat (and no damage to either side) if neither issued a TAC 3 attack order.
