We started bad, it’s my fault my communications blew early and often. I had wanted to go after the Allstars and had prepped the first 3-4 for it. I had patrols in all three starting regions searching pops. My team (and correctly so), pointed out that our initial regions and settings placed us as a no brainer to go against VBall. I didn’t really want to at first because we seem to always fight, and later I didn’t want to because I was getting my teeth kicked out.
EL did well recapturing his region, me and uncledarkseid thought the dragons would be taken out quicker than most so we started killing everything we could. Then it just seemed fun to kill!!!!!
Vball’s team played well, they anticipated well and showed up at pops we were at, we had military engagements and destruction.
Overall good game: congrats to the superstars with their charts and probabilities. And congrats to VBall and company, I think you guys did a great job. Our concept was good, execution not so much. SO,RA,DW played extremely well together. Lots to learn from them.
PT dont be so hard on yourself, we were never going to win anyways. Lots of destruction was the point!

I played the SO. Our plan was to build the DW up to a resource superstar and use them as the Anvil and then Use the RA as the hammer while we used the SO to support and defense.
We were attacked early on by the BL, RD, and EL. We were fortunate as we were very well situated to defend ourselves and take the fight to them. We had good communication and were using good cooperation.
Around turn 12 VBall saw a path to victory by turn 20. So we went for it. Part of the plan was for me to send two groups each with a P7 for meteorite, a P4 for invisible brigade, and a P3 for teleport. The third group would stay back for defense.
I took a village in Untamed land and transferred a capital there and spread my Emms all around. I made a major mistake though. I had my p7 meteorite a town with 11K defense. I then had my brigade attack it. Vball caught it and told me that attack goes before meteor and that I had to meteor and then threaten the town. I went back and changed the orders but for some reason when the turn came back the original orders were executed and I lost the entire group. I was able to eventually replace it but it keeps me from being able to take the untamed lands and allowed enough time for us to lose our position.
Just as we were getting attacked by the NE, IL, Druid team a family emergency came up that forced me to have to take off and our team communication suffered. Sorry guys.
Vball and Canticar where great. They carried the team. I do believe if I hadn't have made that critical mistake we could have had a victory around turn 20.
Congratulations to Draugr, Painted, and Wookie. Ya'll did great. EL, BL, and RD you all were great adversaries and thank you for a great game.

Congratulations to the wizard team on your victory. My early prediction was that we would win it early or your team would win it later. It seemed we were destined to fight the dragon team and the wizards were destined to fight the miscellaneous team and we would then meet up later for the finale.
Fortunately, the dragon team invaded us too early, unprepared and without a real plan, so we were able to hold them off and then invade and take their regions. For some reason, they just started blasting pop centers but not in conjunction with any other plan, so it really did not help them but it did cut our resources a bit and theirs even more. Even when we were taking their regions from them, they just kept blasting away so not sure what that was about.
By the time the wizards came our way, we were a little busy down south and could not defend properly, not to mention our regions were easy to take since there were fewer pop centers than normal due to the wanton and strange destruction tactic of the dragons. Then the dragon team changed strategy and started taking pop centers in the south while we moved north to defend and try to prevent a win by the wizards. Weird.
As Nick said, we had a minor setback which delayed taking Untamed, and we were set to take Triumvia quickly for the seventh region, but then the timing didn't work out and the UN did a great job of taking out our emissaries once we had to sit too long. And by then, the wizards came visiting and they were a serious force. Fighting seven kingdoms proved too much at the end lol but we had fun taking out dragon capitals and completely eliminating dragon army groups. Apologies to the UN - we did not want to attack you, but saw Triumvia as our only possible path to victory before the wizards came a-calling.
Good game to all.
