Ok but can you let us know if the Black Dragon kingdom is still playable? It's only turn 8 and if you missed two turns (back from turn 6) then the kingdom should be in decent shape for a standby to pickup. Let us know. If it is still good then is there someone who would like to join this game? Turn 8 just ran so it's still pretty early...
I doubt it, turn shows the TY took his region.

I wouldnt play him, Tyrant looks like he capped his king a few times, capped some more emissaries, and a few agents.
Plus raided his cookie jar, only crumbs left. Troops were in good shape, but they had some trouble destroying the town last turn, and lost 47%. Looks a like a few strokes of luck and a busy opponent may have led to the black downfall.

Ok we won't get a standby then. Just a reminder though, if you're too busy to play the game, it's ok to drop out and let another substitute for you. Don't do what just happened here where a player doesn't submit orders for the turn or several turns especially when it's so early in the game (turn 6). Now the rest of us have to deal with the Tyrant gaining control of a 2nd region by turn 7 which isn't normal and throws the balance out a bit. I can understand quickly defeating a wimpy kingdom like mine but I considered the Black Dragon as one of the favorites to win this game and wanted to do battle with him. Let's try to be a little more considerate of others if we can. It's ok to drop out, just let us know to get a standby whenever possible thanks.

Actually its quite normal for a military kingdom, especially the tyrant. I won a game on turn 14 with the Tyrant. Plus if you're too busy in life to remember to submit turns, you're too busy to remember to warn someone about it.

Plus if you're too busy in life to remember to submit turns, you're too busy to remember to warn someone about it. Just so you dont think i have it easy down here, i had scouted mythgar completely with patrols by turn two, and on turn 2 found his capital. I sacrificed getting untamed early in order to scout and move on mythgar. If you look back thru the turns you will see i did not take blackfire until turn five, so I am alittle behind in that respect. Some people took their regions two full turns before me. So the fact that I now have two is not so lopsided, I sacrificed production to get that. I capped my first town in mythgar on T3, took his cap, king, Governor and two agents on four, and the city (which was his new capital) on turn five. Took his cap a third time and second king on turn six, the first turn he missed, but aside from an intact army, he was left with a ten influence, one agent, and probably one or two emmies.
I did not take that region by default, it was a plan on turn one, the same turn i began scouting.
And now you know, the rest of the story...

Six groups does give you lots of options, as I said, quite normal.

That seemed impressive, regardless of other circumstances. First you have to have a plan....

Yes, an aggressive plan from the start of the game but those were just pc battles.
What was the Black Dragon doing with his troops? Did DuPont ever intercept you? He got two extra brigades for Mythgar, one a Phoenix Veteran which is good as an RD brigade that can overpower anything that the Tyrant has or may recruit in the game.
Was there ever a battle between you two or did you just conquer pc's? Don't post your answer though until the end if it puts you at a disadvantage. I was just curious because the Black Dragon should have been able to defend Mythgar better when he had the advantage. Or was the Tyrant's pwr-4 wraith the difference? Certain spells could change the course of a tough battle.
For new players out there, you may want to consider playing the Black Dragon because it is a cool kingdom and certainly is not a wimpy kingdom that is easily defeated...

I recruited first two turns, his 1bl only had seven brigades and I had more than double that with customization, adding my trolls from taking untamed,etc... He was attacking pops in mythgar the entire time, and moved onto a town in untamed turn five, the last that he had played. But that same turn, i was on the mythgar city and his new cap, so he only had control for one turn. He knew what was in my group each turn, as he had battle reports from turn three on, and I am sure he knew that the black was not a match for my group.
I believe i took the advantage away when i landing the army group on his capital turn three.
Which is why in the new game, i took a kingdom with a hidden cap, as grey mouser has the reds next door to me
