Dragon Sea Capital
#1
If you move a dragon capital to sea pc, can you get your reinforcements if you move them the turn they show up to land or do you just lose the ability to get reinforcements?

I am just guessing,  Ace, but I would say you would have to have an inactive group to collect the reinforcements since you can never enter a sea square with flight.  You could leave it that way though but good luck defending it.

I thought the troops would be lost.

That was my thinking on inactive group. As Rick always says- pay attention to order numbers and sequence. So- reinforcements come in to inactive group, which becomes active, you move off with a 720, and then a check is done for dragons not ending on sea square which it passes. Seems like it would work.

Both dragon kingdoms (BL,RD) are not allowed to have sea-based pc's as their capitals. Turn 0 checks for this and even creates a new pc in the region if random generation is on water. You cannot move your capital to a sea area with order 355. You cannot create a sanctuary on a sea area with order 455. If enemy groups conquer all of your pc's, you need to have a land-based pc remaining to survive or you're out of the game (without a sanctuary). If your capital is a sanctuary (no other pc's under control) and you attain another pc (for auto-relocation of capital from sanctuary to the new pc), it must be a land-based pc or the relocation won't occur. The code checks for all of this stuff. I'll have to look up if the Ice Age variant of the game (where all the seas are frozen over due to the ever present winter and dragons may land/conquer on water-based pc's) if the code allows dragon capitals to have sea-based pc's on the frozen water or not...
