Did the gnome and necromancer forget to press "ready?"

I can stop joking about dragons eating gnomes if that will help?

Of course, the necromancer can simply raise the undigested gnome bones as zombies, right?

Greetings Mighty Druid.

I would like to continue our trade agreement, including the town in your hands through the length of our next agreement, without any changes. Is this agreeable to you?

I think there was some caution on the forum that initiating perpetual trades between the same two kingdoms gets very close to alliance or NAP, just without a formal declaration.  My impressions were trades were to be agreed to for one season only.  Surely there would be no aggression between kingdoms in long standing trade.  Isn't this like a NAP?  Am I wrong?

After turn 4 processes . . . until turn 5 processes.

ahh, thnx. really dont know why these games are not full chat each and every turn, makes the game much more fun.

Frequent forum watchers will know this has been discussed, I dare say, for years now.  If players will recall, there was such opposition to the advantages of full diplomacy to the dedicated diplomatic player that a sizeable portion of the player base left as they were not interested in spending so much of their available game time on hashing out agreements, at that time dominated by non-aggression pacts, usually game long, or else face enduring for a short while as a lone wolf.

The result was nearly all games for nearly two years were Anonymous or the modified Silent, either with no diplomacy at all.

Then we developed the popular forum only diplomacy, and therein a compromise to the players preferring Silent, to restrict diplomacy to End of (Late) Season forum diplomacy with no NAPS or Allies.  This has been well received as it was about universally agreed that NAP's in their forms were damaging the game and removing the fun for the players less enthusiastic about being part of a cabal.  By corollary, through these steps we have largely removed the odor of coordinated multiple kingdom attacks on a single kingdom, which causes bad feelings.

If you wish to be a trading partner as well simply say so.   Dragon appetites are . . . endless!

Since the DU are providing some food to the RD we need not so readily seek to eat more sentient creatures.  But, hey, maybe your forests are overpopulated?  I am certain Stormgate is!

To the point: Do you wish to trade 20k food for 9k gold?  If so, simply speak up and I will gain another town in my region and more training for my group.

I do not think the DU and I have discussed anything other than the single trade we consummated and I am holding the lives of all the baby druids in a specific town as hostage . . .   Smile

I will pay 5000 gold t6 for the Amazon agent. Please post the agent initials [if you agree to this trade] so I can complete the order on the non talk turn.

Please confirm our agreement for the next three turns. I already hit "ready" with the trade continuing as a standing order.
