Dupont welcome! We'll stick you in as the BL if we don't hear from you again soon (and if that's what you really want, eww) , but we had a bit of a setback and you're not up again quite yet.
In case anyone didn't care to read all my previous dreary posts... a player has dibs on a kingdom if they posted the best score with that kingdom this year compared to all other invitees. But once a player chooses a kingdom, all their extra dibs get added to the pool and anyone may choose them. You are not required to choose from your dibs, any player can choose from the pool. Regions were randomly assigned, invitees were placed by rank, according to number of wins this year, with total points used as tiebreakers. After wins, players were ranked by number of second place finishes.
