Primeval used to be 5 kingdoms.  Several of us suggested it be increased to 6.  It usually turns into most everybody grabbing two  regions before conflict starts.  Two regions is a bit harder if you are a new player and it's really easy to fall behind.  You have more area with the same number of orders so experienced players using economy of orders do well.

Look on the new games thread and there should be a description.
