Observations For Possible Improvements
#11
Is there a way to automatically create a forum account remotely by the Alamaze server? If so, let me know and with Rick's (or new owner's) permission, I could add that step in the account creation process. At support email, we see some confusion with new players who just created an Alamaze player account, but now has to also create a separate forum account. Charles, if you know of a way to automatically create a forum account from our game server (using web-based PHP), I could add that step in the automation procedure. Many may thank you for it, but I was hesitant in the past to investigate how to do this because it makes our Alamaze server not much different than a bot/spammer on the forum.

Just a personal anectdote. I looked in the game creation tool and saw a game called 10 Man Trial Run. Knowing I will get rolled anyhow, I still figured it might be fun to dip back in. I noticed players had new Kingdoms selected so that prompted me to go look for the updates (which I found pretty easilly!). I saw all these new Kingdoms, spells, orders, upgrades. Just seemed overwhelming, and I'm someone that has played on and off going back to game 80 by mail (Yeah we beat PTRILEY in a Team game back then!).

I know that folks who have played a hundred games need some new things to stay interested but just a suggestion: You might want a somewhat stripped down version to introduce new players to the game. Maybe 3 tiers. Beginner, Intermediate and Master. I know there is talk of a Welcome back Team game with Mentors, but it's still a real lot for folks to pick up on in a game or two.

Anyhow, just my 2 cents.

Was that the game where we had TY, CI, and DU?  I think you got us on Discord for communications?

We don't use numbers that large when talking about the past.

My first game was #27.  Spent a ton of time with Phil back in the day racking up phone bills to N Carolina. I did not win, but it wasn’t PT I know for sure.

Hi all.

Quick suggestion, next to Mithril Minors pleas list the location of any current mithril strikes. Hard to keep track of them when you are in multiple games.

Tornado should do extra damage against flying opponents. This would help keep the dragons from crushing poor wizards on turn 3
