Thanks Pine, I was thinking about them all wrong, basically they are a fear that can effect stalwart kingdoms, and against non-stalwart kingdoms, stacks with fear... so you could potentially have about 60% fear-type reduction against non-stalwart groups.

Thanks Pine, I was thinking about them all wrong, basically they are a fear that can effect stalwart kingdoms, and against non-stalwart kingdoms, stacks with fear... so you could potentially have about 60% fear-type reduction against non-stalwart groups.

Weird I thought DK Glowamane wanted to fight 1LY on the last turn but those posts are gone. Order is in if you want to fight at UN. I would prefer one group on one group, but whatever,

Had moved a warlord and lvl 10 mage out as wasn't taking damage from legendary castles so should be interesting to see how it performs against a army.

Weird.

I'll have two warlords and a grand marshal. Value in terrain 360k+, wizards 8, 6, 5. Various group bonuses etc.

Combat value in plains is 310K. so should be a good fight.

Am sending group 2DK to stormgate if you want to defend it.

The vile presense of the 1st Deathknights Mummies infected disease rot upon their enemy,
causing disheartening morale and viral sickness among them. The colossus 1st Deathknights
Iron Golem breathed poisonous gas upon their enemy, disheartening their morale. The 1st
Lycans morale was boosted due to the plentiful number of Orc brigades within their ranks.
Due to the ruthless nature of the Deathknights, the Lycans forces became weakened as they
succumbed to their fear. When the sun had risen to its highest point, with a blast of deep
toned horns, the 1st Deathknights army group rushed to attack the advancing lines of the
1st Lycans army group commanded by Warlord Melori Jyn. Aware of the political situation
that had declared the Lycans to be treated as an enemy of their kingdom's ideals, the
Deathknights troops were clearly anxious for battle and benefited from increased morale as
they prepared to fight their declared enemy! Knowing that their liege had declared the
Deathknights to be treated as an enemy of their nation, the Lycans troops were noticably
energized and had their morale raised as they prepared to battle their declared enemy! The
Deathknights fielded its pride: its 1st group. The 1st Lycans group proudly led the
Lycans'. As the attackers swept over the grassy knolls, the battle began.

- Long Range Missilers -

Long range missilers from both sides joined the fray and fired their arrows. The large
shields of the Westmen troops within the 1st Lycans reduced opposing missile damage. The
Deathknights forces inflicted light losses upon the Lycans forces in return, the Lycans
inflicted minor losses to their foes.

- Short Range Missilers -

The short range Deathknights skillful black-bowed archers and the painted faces of the
frightful wolfmen missilers of the Lycans force initiated their attack. The Deathknights
lines imposed minor losses upon the Lycans ranks in return, the Lycans imposed minor
losses to their foes.

- Magic -

Deathknights mages dismounted scarcely past where the defensive missiles were falling and
began an elaborate incantation. Power-11 wizard Gnelpas presence (lighting attack) failed
due to 1st Lycans magic resistance. Power-11 wizard Gnelpas began sorcerous incantations
in an unknown tongue. Cloaked hood to foot and masked in red unleashed an awesome array of
magical effects, the combination of which has seldom been matched. The sky above seemed to
crack asunder, causing great fear among the enemy ranks. Then from the sky fissure there
issued strong tornado winds, down upon the enemy. From this awesome display, the enemy was
thrown into chaos, inhibiting their ability to retreat. The presence of an opposing
warlord prevented the chaos spell's effects! Power-10 wizard Dregmax presence (lighting
attack) failed due to 1st Lycans magic resistance. Stepping forward is a mighty Pit Fiend
aiding the 1st Deathknights, whose demonic immolation causes intense fire to burn the
enemy. Lycans wizards dismounted just beyond the range of defending bowmen and began an
elaborate incantation. Nyrinn Shayna's presence was noted. Sonic blasts shot forth from
his position. Power-8 wizard Nyrinn Shayna made a series of intricate gestures. A faintly
visible blue shimmering began to surround the troops and noticeably lessened the
effectiveness of the arrows of the defenders. Fleya Kadyn likewise had his presence be
known in like manner. Power-7 Wizard Fleya Kadyn slowly spoke in an arcane language,
gestures building to a crescendo. He then created a powerful warding, which would protect
the heroes and wizards of his force from the black magics of any opposing spellcasters.
Nemrond also let his presence be seen in similar manner. Power-5 Wizard Nemrond made a
series of intricate gestures. He then created a powerful warding, which would protect the
heroes and wizards of his force from the black magics of any opposing spellcasters. The
Deathknights lines inflicted minor damage upon the Lycans lines as the Lycans dealt out
light losses to their foes.

- Artifact -

By raising Anglakel, Sword from the Sky, Lycans Warlord Melori Jyn infused his troops with
boldness and caused alarm in the minds of the Deathknights leaders as the magical sword
slew enemy forces. Lycans Warlord Melori Jyn displayed the Axe of Farin for all to see,
his troops thus encouraged multiplied their efforts and the enemy's leaders quaked as the
magical axe slew enemy forces. By raising Morgal Blade, Lycans Warlord Melori Jyn infused
his troops with boldness and caused alarm in the minds of the Deathknights leaders as the
magical dagger slew enemy forces. Waving in the wind, the Renowned Standard bolstered the
Lycans troops with hope during the battle. By raising Elan, the Flaming Sword of the
North, Deathknights Warlord Qebru infused his troops with boldness and caused alarm in the
minds of the Lycans leaders as the mighty sword slew enemy forces.

- Charge -

To this point, neither side could claim a decisive advantage. Now Warlord Qebru led the
Deathknights midnight black clad cavalry down upon the larger sized lycanthropes charged
ahead with great malice of the Lycans. The Deathknights lines imposed minor casualties
upon the Lycans ranks and, in return, the Lycans imposed light damage to their enemy.

- Melee -

Though much blood had been split and the fighting had raged for hours, still victory hung
by a thread. The footmen of each force now were prepared to settle the engagement, grim
determination on the face of each soldier, they met in heated, blood-stained battle. The
Deathknights brave and cunning footmen confronted the Lycans subhuman infantry sprung
forward as if manipulated by an unseen force, to determine the outcome of the battle. The
Deathknights ranks caused minor casualties upon the Lycans ranks in response, the Lycans
dealt out light casualties against the enemy.

- Combined -

Hour after hour passed, yet none could tell which side would be the victor since both
forces were evenly matched. Despite all that had preceeded at this moment, the battle
outcome was still in doubt. Now all remaining troops of all types hurled themselves into
the thick of battle to settle matters in decisive fashion. Despite all that had preceeded

Deathknights remaining troops defied the Lycans entire force for the final battle. The
Deathknights ranks imposed minor damage upon the Lycans ranks and, in return, the Lycans
inflicted significant damage to their enemy.

- Conclusion -

Forces on both sides of the battlefield were exhausted and left the battle without either
side withdrawing. Deathknights casualties were put at 23.85%. All Deathknights leaders
survived the battle. All the Deathknights wizards survived the fray. Due to experience,
victory and valor, a Veteran Pit Fiend brigade has been recognized as Elite! Due to
experience, victory and valor, a Veteran Trolls brigade has been recognized as Elite! Due
to experience, victory and valor, a Veteran War Machines brigade has been recognized as
Elite! Due to experience, victory and valor, a Veteran War Machines brigade has been
recognized as Elite! The toll of battle has lowered the group's morale. Lycans casualties
were put at 21.26%. Tragically, the Lycans Grand Marshal Eloso Nyer did not survive.
Power-8 Nyrinn Shayna escaped the battlefield through secret passages built within the
great mage tower! Power-7 Fleya Kadyn escaped the battlefield through secret passages
built within the great mage tower! Power-5 Nemrond escaped the battlefield through secret
passages built within the great mage tower! All the Lycans wizards survived the fray. Due
to experience, victory and valor, a Veteran Lycans brigade has been recognized as Elite!
Due to experience, victory and valor, a Veteran Orcs brigade has been recognized as Elite!
The troops are anxious for more victories: morale is up! The injured on the battlefield
were bitten by the 1st Lycans infecting them with lycanthrope, and the force grew by 1
Lycan brigades.
