OK so that was totally not my fault! It's a darn shame to those villages were nice places, these trolls were just there minding their own business, getting a beer, you know, like the common folk do, and the villagers just would not let up! They really hate Trolls down there, their moral was low, the mean-spirited nature of the hostile region just, you know, it weighs on you! Not to mention the constant vigilance they had to maintain, it really does drive you to drink, and I think that's probably where things got a little out of hand, you see.
So, anyway, these Trolls, I can see where you might think because these Trolls were in the Untamed Lands that they might have a beef with you Lycans, well, you might not be TOO far off the mark here see, these particular Trolls work for my Grammy guarding her vineyard and she had this silver tea set she really liked. Now she SAYS a Lycan stole it, but I was like, I don't even think Lycans like silver, but she was adamant, but I mean you know she's not one to hold a grudge, but I think maybe the Trolls overheard and they were all like, this won't fly! I dunno, you know trolls I mean they can be kind of excitable and boy they do love plundering.
So anyway, normally these Trolls wouldn't go all the way to Untamed for a drink, you know it's pretty far, I mean that one time Franks Dad passed, they went down for a drink with his Mom, but I mean you know that's family, you know? Well, Grammy usually pays a good portion of the Trolls salary with wine, they insist! But she had kind of a bad year, the nasty beetles, so sad, and well, you know, cash the next best thing and so, they figure they have to buy booze anyway might as well go see the ole stomping grounds.
So, look long story short, I think I can solve your Troll probably here. Now, if you wanna go ahead and get a posse together and hunt em down, I completely get it, no hard feelings. But they are sneaky bastards so if you do need a little help, I think I have a solution. See Gammy just needs a small one-time, or maybe once or twice... well, you know maybe a monthly installment to get the grape farm up and going again and if you could see your way clear to send, I don't know, maybe like 15k, well no more like 20k a month I'm certain she will be able to keep these Trolls at home.
I know it's got to be tough losing good farmland villages considering what the high council is doing to food production all over the country, and yeah, I know it looks like I'm responsible but THAT is totally not my fault man! This is what the citizens are demanding, and my JOB is on the line here! Fewer farms more factory jobs, go figure! Personally, I'd rather be out on a farm but nooooooo, not Pellinorians they all want office jobs and factory jobs. Look I got no choice here, and that's the honest truth.
Protection? What an ugly word this is absolutely NOT protection! This is just you, and anyone else who don't want Trolls mussing up their nice region to give a little towards helping these poor guys get a drink at home! I mean look, anything sets these Trolls off, they even follow politics so if you have, I don't know, say voted against their interests, you might want to consider sending them a little gift. Trust me you WANT these trolls knock-out blind drunk sleeping it off under some garbage can, not plundering Mom and Dads farm in the middle of nowheresville. I mean if you have other things to offer I'm sure they are interested, I mean they are really happy with those Gnomes up in Darkover, you know, who swung the vote. Franks cousin got a nice office job just last week and do you know how much farmland we've sold to developers this month? Yeah, Pellinor is really paving the way for a bright future.
So just feed the Trolls my fellow countrymen, I will do my part, and they will be looking to see that you do yours!
