Victory By Rex Is The Lycans Kingdom!
                            Game End Status Points

Place Kingdom    Player                Results-27  Grand Total

          1    LY    Brek                      44,659      60,380
          2    DE    Wookie Panz              31,574      43,126
          3    GI    Vball Michael            10,221      20,412

This one ended with a joint victory, two players satisfying the 5 kingdom rex on the same turn.  I've never seen that before.  Brek has the higher point total.

Victory!              Brek, leader of the Lycans kingdom has won by Rex Victory (control 5 or
more regions), regards to all who made this game an exciting contest.

Victory!              Wookie Panz, leader of the Demon Princes kingdom has won by Rex Victory
(control 5 or more regions), regards to all who made this game an exciting
                            contest.

Brek would you please post the names of all who played in this anon game?  I'll have more to say about this game later in what was the most screwed up game I have ever played in.

Very unusual game. Initially, I did very little; instead of focusing on my own region, I opted for Darkover when the opportunity arose due to a player dropping out. I spent some time gathering troops and then made my way south. Early in the game, I discovered that the Death Knights capital was within striking distance. So I kept a watchful eye on it, half-expecting an attack. When the capital wasn't fortified as I anticipated, I decided to make my move against it.

In the march, as I approached the border of my region, I noticed the capital was finally being upgraded. I thought my plan was doomed to fail. However, by the time I reached the capital, the opponent had surprisingly vacated his troops and moved on, eventually dropping out of the game. After that, it was a straightforward task for me to move in and take over the unguarded areas. I had really been looking forward to a confrontation with the Death Knights and was curious to see how the Lycans would fare against them in battle.

Here is more on the screwiest game I have ever played.  I had to wait for John to go back and dig out the players in this anonymous game.

An - Strongwill
CI - Dupont
DE - Wookie
DU - Morgan Kane
FF Lord Luty
GI - Vball Michael
LY - Brek
RD - Strillian

The first unusual thing was the game was anonymous so no one knew who was playing any positions and after the game creator page went away we didn't even know which regions had players.
In most game every region has a player but for some reason this was a 10 player game so several regions were vacant.  In addition it looks like one player never even started so we only had 9.

I figured with several regions open the DE with unlimited range gating for the Princes would be a good fit and I got them in Triumvia.  I went for Stormgate quickly and I'll be darned if the freaking Giants don't show up on turn 4, stomping my Prince in Cornucopia.  As it worked out I had just found the Giants 2nd town in Triumvia so I repaid the favor and took that and took Stormgate region.  I hoped that the GI would leave me alone as there was plenty of empty space.

Zanthis was uncontrolled so I sent guys there and started taking pop centers.  Surprise, both CI and RD are fighting there too and I seemed to be stuck in the middle.  I knew CI had started in Crown Coast as he quickly took my village there.  He had quickly moved into empty Krynn too for his second region..  I now think RD started in Sword as his capital was not in Zanthia.

With CI going for at least his 3rd region and not wanting to get into a 3 way war I sent guys to Crown Coast and took that back from CI.  In the meantime GI would not leave me alone and kept pecking away at Triumvia as well as putting Stormgate under siege.  I had to expend about a third of my orders to keep him at bay, a total pain in the ass.

CI now had Sword Coast and Krynn and then took Zamora.  At one point he had 4 regions and was headed for a win and still the freaking GI would not ease up on me and slow down the CI.  I had lost Stromgate and only had Triumvia and Crown Coast.  Two regions fpr DE and 4 for CI and Vball keeps coming after me?  I never made any attempts at HIS home region in Pelinor so I just don't get it.

At this point my whole game plan is to avoid a CI victory somehow while fighting both him and GI and I am hoping that Lycan can pull off a victory.
I must have frustrated CI as I broke his control nearly  every time he would take a region and eventually he quit the game even though he was in fine shape.

LY had 4 regions and I had just 3 with the DE but I made a bunch of moves and tried to flip 2 regions and took a shot at a victory claim knowing LY would probably have this one in the bag.

It was a pleasant surprise to see the joint win, DE and LY both got 5 regions.  Brek had more points on his much easier path to victory.
Vball gets the stinky sock award in this one for making no attempt to stop either CI or LY when they had 4 regions and just being a total pest to my peace loving DE for the WHOLE STINKING GAME.

Yep, screwiest game ever.
