I am in search of a battle hardened Death Knight to discuss tactics and game mechanics with.

May your Gods take a liking to you all... though not too quickly I would hope.

deathknights, always take advantage of order muster the fallen. can even be to an inactive group but has to be at your capital. Great way to amass a lot of skeleton troops to build your army. Deathknights best asset is its armies. build up and attack what you can even neutral and human pop centers in your area. Only way to increase your morale.

OK, ran into a bit of a problem. Neither Tutorial game I just tried to start show up on the order system. It lists them when I hit the show games but I cannot get to the order system to give orders. Grandson just dropped the idea of playing because he wanted to try the tutorial before jumping in.

Thank you, fixed it.

Going to ask, what happens when you tax a PC? I see in the games where folks offer to tax instead of inciting rebellion. Really just curious as to why and how this works.

The pc revolts, you lose control, and your regional reaction level goes down.  You do get extra tax revenue for 1 turn.  Some players use this as a way to train their troops as they can then attack the revolted pc on the following turn.

Hiya,

Also if you tax a pop center any political emissaries will relocate to your capital, this helps if your starting second town is half way across the map.

I see. So this is a way to give away your starting PC to another player? It goes neutral and they take it?

It actually goes to Human control and yes, they can take it.

Thanks. Was just wondering why I was seeing the offer to tax at the beginning of games.

Once again, newbie question. Does the Riders trait give a patrol 32 movement points? Because I just tried it and it gave the error section where it said they exhausted Forcemarch before reaching the 32 mark.
