Hi all. I just want to make sure that I am not messing something up. I recently acquired a foreign prince, and he didn't turn into a lycanthrope right away, but was instead rescued the following turn. Is this how it should happen? I think that it sucks, personally.

I believe there is a 33% chance upon capture of him turning. I don't know if there is any notification one way or the other.

Well, you would know if he turned, and yes it is a 1/3rd chance of turning. Since he did not I would assume you would treat him as you would any captured emissary.

Thanks for the heads up on that. This is my first time as the LY, and I just assumed that that was automatic.

You will know immediately upon it happening. If you capture him, he shows up as prisoner. If you convert him, he shows up in your emissary list. Same for agents.

The 33% chance to convert only runs when you capture initially, and doesn't appear to run again while he's rotting in your dungeon. But don't feel bad about him escaping, that just means you get another chance to capture and bite him!

Really fun kingdom to play, start attacking things! Btw the gain of lycan troops is not automatic upon capping towns and cities either. Not sure the percentage
