I won as the Druid on turn 30:
1 DU Ozymandius 39,466 50,812
2 AN Runigruth 28,898 43,866
3 FT Windstar 24,952 39,299
4 EM JohnnyUtah 23,602 33,686
5 DW Xerro 20,020 33,065
6 NE CosmicWizard17 15,154 22,795
7 LI Milo007 3,556 10,495
Thanks to all who stayed to the end!
Some interesting facts:
*It appears I had 25 battles - with zero troop promotions. I didn't begin fighting until I had Iron Golems and P-8s thus nothing was challenging. To think some kingdoms get Iron Golems and Trolls...
*For most of the game, I operated with invisible, teleporting armies rather than army groups. Eventually, I did have one army group. The invisible armies were effective, allowing me to take whatever I needed. I never really needed to take a legendary but I imagine I could have combined groups and done so.
*No one declared me an enemy all game - five regions the peaceful way
*The poor LI got beat up pretty bad. Kudos to sticking in there! I guess I didn't really NEED to destroy your capital there at the end...
*Revelation feels very, VERY strong - I used it on the DE, DW and LI and provided intel I would never have gotten otherwise; my DW prisoners can tell you about that
All in all, it was a straightforward game. Built up to turn 20, cast Revelation on the DE who was pushing four regions. Moved on his stuff. He dropped. Took stuff from DW and LI and presto! Five regions! I greatly benefited from not being attacked in any meaningful way.
