Nothing like a close-to-completed victory check to unify everyone, eh? Smile

Somebody managed to assassinate one of my P9's! I've never seen that before.

Based on the charts in the rulebook the base success rate for a lvl10 agent should be 5%. If we assume the assassin was lvl 18, that should raise the success rate another 40% to 45%.

My group had 3x P9's so that should be 3x lvl4 agents on counter espionage due to intrinsic dire wolf familiar which should drop the success rate by 60% to -15%...

Except, I'm just finding as I write this that SO doesn't get dire wolf familiar, doh!

I've had success in the past killing P7's, but my missions to kill P8's always failed.

Do you get anything in your report that indicates you got a simulacrum vs the real thing?

An attempt was made to assassinate the 4th Sorcerer Power-9 Iz the Quick:

Normal security was present, however, no agent on counter espionage was noted in the area. Our agent successfully assassinated Power-9 Iz the Quick of the 4th Sorcerer. Surprisingly, after a second look at the victim, the body was made out of wax! The team made good its escape, evading search teams tracking them.

Not that it was me. That report is from the Gnome.

Can't trust a Gnome!

Has anyone ever set up all their spells to attack a legendary city and then forget to enter the actual order to attack?

Anyone? No, not me either, never done that...

Fun game! I was about a town away from victory several turns back, thanks to the Devious Gnome! That is his name now btw. Brek is updating the rule book. You guys really rallied around not letting me win! Smile
