New Player Duel Just Posted
#1
Hello,
Noob Mike Letus here.  I've played the tutorial a couple times and it's time to move on.   I posted a duel to get my feet wet and hope to learn a lot in the process.  Email is letusmichael@verizon.net

(EDIT): I botched my first game post as I listed it as The Choosing instead of Maelstrom. Hoping that this can be corrected before it begins.

Thank you

Hi Ziggy! It may be better to simply get into a game rather than a duel. The last time I tried a duel things didn't quite work as expected.

If you have any questions please feel free to post them or you can message me directly.

I agree with Dave, the duel has not been updated in a while. Jump into a game, learn while you play.

Thanks for the advice. I've signed up for a couple and will patiently wait.

Well, I took you up on it. I never got around to playing a duel game so we are even for that.

Duel is just another step in learning. I am not really fussed about winning so ask questions and I will try to help you understand options as we go.

Note the one time I attempted a duel, the order entry program did not reflect costs accurately. For example, it showed emissary and king orders being free, but for a duel they are not.

Thank you very much.  I've done a turn and look forward to seeing what happens here.  Another game has 10 of 12 players set so I'm hoping that one will start relatively soon as well.

Take care,
Mike
