Canticar took the Giants to a nice victory on turn 34 in anonymous Game 5978. Nice job to all who finished this great contest.

Good job to Canticar!

As the AN I began an attack on the GI...the same turn the IL attacked me and thus I had to pivot to react to that. (I was trying to stop the GI from winning dude!)

For me, this game was largely shaped by the fact that as the AN I couldn't seem to build a group to take legendary PCs. Stormgate and NU were human legendary cities, and while I took everything in the IL's region of Mythgar, other than the city (legendary) and his capital (hidden), I couldn't get control. Granted, I could have recruited heavily throughout the game to put myself in a better position, but we only have 25 orders a turn. It is a growing frustration for me that some kingdoms are locked out of attacking legendarys without careful long-term planning, while others can take them without issue.
