Morale of Patrol -> Brigade

I have a patrol (100% morale) and I'm transferring 1 brigade into this unit (108% morale). When I try to move 25 points, the order entry system says I cannot because my morale is not high enough.

1. Am I getting this error because when the brigade is moved in, it does not keep that brigade's morale and the group retains only 100% morale?

2. If I were to later move that brigade back into the original group, would it count as 100% morale and therefore lower the morale of the group it's joining?

I suspect the order entry program is in error. If you have the 1DW as a patrol and the 2DW as a single brigade with 108% morale, when you combine these, you end up with a group with one brigade with 108% morale. That being said, it is worthwhile to ensure the group is fed (10% morale loss) and your route is correct and is on the terrain you think it is. There are a few terrain squares out there that are ambiguous (for example, PH)
