I've had the same Adept fail to advance for 6 turns in a row now. Playing Dwarves with a supposed 40% success rate...

Anybody else seen this behavior? Should I give him a turn off to reset?

Yes, I have as well. I believe this is a serious impediment to certain kingdoms. IMHO it should not be possible to fail more than once per adept.
