Hey, just want to say that this new game just started and it's on a completely different map and ruleset (3rd Cycle The Choosing).
Game 6110
Ruleset: 3rd Cycle The Choosing
Map: Resurgent
Cities: Random (so ignore the city symbols on the map)
Comm: Anonymous
Options: Extra Orders (4)
Fun Factor: Kick-Ass
When filling in your orders, keep in mind that the order entry website probably won't calculate gold totals correctly since the website is geared for the 4th Cycle Maelstrom ruleset. I found that out by playing a tutorial game which runs off the older 3rd Cycle The Choosing ruleset, but the order entry website was saying that the gold cost for orders were free (they're not when the turn actually runs).
So, all of us in this older-style game will need to take that into consideration because there are no longer any freebies in gold cost for emissary and agent orders.
Any else that we should be informed of for this game? Chime in please...

After looking at the online order Ready page, it shows the following kingdoms in this game. Since this is a 3rd Cycle The Choosing game, certain regions will have two or more kingdoms, while others may have only one or even none. I guess that's how the game queue assigned the kingdoms based on our draft choice selection.
Anyhoo, here are the kingdoms according to the online Ready page (based on region):
Oakendell - {none}
Northern Mists - Necromancer
Talking Mountains - Warlock
Torvale - Sorcerer
Amberland - {none}
Eastern Steppes - Demon Princes
Runnimede - Halfling
Arcania - Illusionist
Synisvania - Dark Elves & Lizard Men
Southern Sands - Ancient Ones & Nomad
Dispersed #11 - Underworld
Dispersed #12 - Red Dragon
Where do the dispersed go? Is it always near the south? If so, it'll make it rougher down there.
Seems like due to the draft selection, the south is definitely in for some hostile action with multiple kingdoms fighting each other from the start, while the north is going to be boring as heck...

Just me maybe? When I try to do Customization, I only get 3 boxes to fill in, and my choices are only like the top 10 things on the list.
I have reloaded several times and even tried on my phone. Hoping someone has an answer as turn 2 is in, and turn 3 is our last chance for it.

They are based off of 3rd cycle not 4th, so like 3 points only I think

Yes, and if you're switching between games (like from 3rd Cycle to 4th Cycle), you'll need to wait a couple of seconds on the Home page after pressing the Load Orders button.
I remember reading on the forum that UncleMike said to wait until the Home page's "Due Date" display changes from "Due Date: <original date game started>" to "Due Date: See Ready Menu".
That indicates that the website has fully loaded the next game's information. If you rush through it before seeing that ready menu notice for the due date, I've encountered that the two games may get mixed up (and it'll screw up your orders).
It's due to the server lag of not uploading all the info for the game or something...

VballMichael - I reference the Help Guides page for 3rd Cycle rulebook and other things like the Resurgent map. That map shows the regional boundaries clearly. The map snapshot with every turn shows the regional boundaries as well, but they're hidden behind the fog-of-war mist.
davekuyk - The draft option for this game was set for random player assignment of kingdoms, so the software is working as advertised. There's another draft option (E, draft-by-region) where there's a guarantee of one kingdom per region. I guess, it's all to the player's preferences in which version they prefer for the game.
