I played Alamaze back in the paper world back in college. Personally I enjoyed the First Cycle more then the Second Cycle. I really enjoying the Westmen and the Warlock and vaguely getting stomped as the Red Dragon (I wish I remembered as much as Kal Rex)! It'll be fun to see how much I remember about this game, discover any new changes, and how the Nation mix changes the dynamics ...

I fondly remember playing PBM games, such as Monster Island and Middle Earth among others. I just happened to find this forum a few days ago!

Welcome back, Iatronas. In 3rd Cycle, you may see a return of some of those 1st Cycle kingdoms, although they may be renamed.

So in signing up at the Warrior level, I think I need to find two games to join to get my money's worth. It appear 113 is close to filling, and the anonymous game is only Commander+ level (although I would be fine playing in this as my second game). Am I missing a spot to sign up for a second game, or should I assume that the 114 sign-up will appear as 113 is filled?

I think you are allowed to sign up for the anonymous game if you wish.

the Anonymous game is restricted to Commander and up. It is not recommended that players increase to Commander solely to get in this game and players entering Anonymous should understand the experience is not like Alamaze Classic. I have some ideas to improve the anonymous format but need to work through them with Cipher.

Players can change their service level at any time.
