Seeking New Heroes

Newbie here, looking for a game. My first invoice is paid and I am ready to play. How does it work? Is this particular game appropriate for newbies? Is it slated to run 1x or 2x per week? I would like to throw my hat in the ring for the giants or the sorceror, or anything, as long as we can get a game going.

I am fully willing to hold on and wait for the new player game to start even if it takes a bit to launch. It will give me ample time to familiarize myself with the rules and play mechanics.

Plus all I remember from the game was that I had fun and that Marshal Glorin was my favorite part of it for some reason. I would really love to play the elves again.

I have no Ixnay signed up. I do have a Gorgar who has not signed up for his first game.

Gruber, you are strongly encouraged to choose an open position and then be quick to sign up for the Elves in the next game. We may not have a newbie game again for some time and we don't want (or set up for) players not in their first game for more than a month.

"Gorgar". So THAT's the name I decided upon when I signed on! When I learned that I needed to set up an account here on the forum, I had forgotten. I knew I had used something other than "ixnay", as I'm known on playbymail.net, but I couldn't for the life of me remember what it was.

Do I need to shut down this forum account and make a new one for "Gorgar"? Or can you change my gorgar player name to Ixnay? Either way is fine with me.

I believe it is now in our best interests to open this up a bit more to fill the final few spots. As long as you are not in the current Valhalla Top 20, you may claim one of the remaining positions, and hopefully mentor the newer players.

If you are a new player that has gotten your account but not posted here for your kingdom, now would be the time to do so.
