ixnay here, and I am sigining up for the first time.
I played a handful of PBM games back in the 80s, some more obsessively than others. I remember reading the ads for Alamaze, and remarking at all the good press it was getting, but I was spending as much as I could afford already on PBM at the time.
Like many of you, I dropped out of PBM for a long time, doing real life stuff, and am happy to be getting back into things. I am playing the new version of Empyrean Challenge (aka "Cluster Wars") and a couple of smaller games. I post on this over at playbymail.net, and have written a few articles for Grim's Suspense & Decision.
So now I'm trying Alamaze. I won't be actively game-logging it "live", but I might keep a turn-by-turn log of my thoughts and intentions, for later publishing after this first game, so be forewarned!
