What does this spell actually do?

NAME: PRESENCE SPELL #: 0
THIS IS NOT A SPELL, BUT RATHER A BONUS WHICH ACCRUES TO ALL THIRD LEVEL SPELLCASTERS AND ABOVE, SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASING THEIR COMBAT ABILITIES.
THIS BONUS INCREASES IN PROPORTION TO THE WIZARD'S POWER. WIZARDS OF THIS POWER AND BEYOND CAN CAST ANY OF THEIR AVAILABLE SPELLS WHICH MAY AID THEIR GROUP'S OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE CAPABILITIES OR ASSIST THEIR KINGDOM IN OTHER WAYS. {A POWER-4 PRESENCE IS ROUGHLY EQUAL TO A POWER-2 LIGHTNING
STRIKE AND SHIELD.}

For a p4 wizard it automatically casts a p2 shield and a p2 lightning bolt (1k damage) in addition to the other spell that you cast (guarded attack, fire strike, etc...)

Presence should never be underrated. Given the choice between having a p4 and two p-2s in a group or two p-3 and a p-2, I'd strongly suggest the two p3s set-up. The shield component is especially nice, both for combat and when investigating unusual sightings.

Ditto this, works especially when combined with decent army also. Enhancing the defensive values.
