The problem is that the RD has something like a 200,000 strong group running around and is unstoppable in this game. The UN has about a dozen agent-19's picking everyone off and you're commenting on how you're at a disadvantage? But then again, with the right amount of gold (and if the DE doesn't stop casting regionals that also affects my groups), the RA just may switch sides Smile

Just a heads up for everyone in this game that a new due date is printed on the title page. The next turn is due this Wednesday instead of Tuesday.

Too bad this game must end on turn 40. We finished turn 30 and almost everyone is still active with 8 or 9 regions controlled and no kingdom controls more than a single region. What a great game!

However it all ends I want to go on record saying I have had tons of fun!

To be fair, I'm letting everyone know that I'm dropping out of this game so the RA position is now open.

Wow, this has a major impact on this game. As RA was major military ally for one side in this game. I am sorry to see him go as he was very helpful and a good ally.
The balance of this game swings in UN/RD/DW/AN/GI's favor now with this loss. Sad, with only 6 turns left, this was a fun game and had potential to go down to last turn for someone to get a victory, now it will change.

(RD) I agree it impacts the game, but actually evens it up a little. After all, the Giant is a non-entity, so we really have 4 players on the side of Good. The other side has BL, SO, WA, EL, DA, DE, all solid positions. With the RA military and other contributions, the battle was very lopsided. We were just holding out for a game end. While the game has been fun, 40 turns is an awfully long time to hold out against an outnumbering enemy alliance.
And before you argue the greatness of the RD troops, let's reminisce on the recent EL crushing of one RD army and the BL crushing of a second RD army.

Just for accuracy... all those kingdoms you mention are not in full alliance with each other.

Your alliance is the largest and you simply find yourself fighting everyone else.

And there is no good reason for dropping a game at this point!

Having said all of the above, this has been a great game. Truly the pinnacle of Alamaze fun. Angry

um, all of ours are not in full alliance either. Really, the DW and DE have had their own battle with some help from each side.
the GI has bounced from side to side.
so having trouble seeing how 3 kingdoms is the bigger alliance when i am currently attacked by 6 kingdoms.
