This game is filling slowly, and we don't want to keep players in queues for a long time. The other game being requested is an Anonymous game, which may not be best for new players (probably OK for returning players). If you like, you can sign up for the Anonymous Steel game and remain here in queue as well - I'll only adjust your Service Level if need be when this game is close to filling. Again, in my opinion the Anonymous game is more difficult in some ways than a regular Steel game.

That puts this sign-up down to only 5 . . . ?

My guess is that a third anonymous 1.5/week game would fill up before the 1/week.

I am playing in a single 1/week game and it certainly doesn't hold my concentration like the faster games. In fact, I have to keep re-reading older turns/emails to "remember" what it is that is happening. But my mind certainly isn't as sharp as others - I readily admit this.

Maybe just make the game a 1.5 turns a week, that might get more people too.

I am only signing up for this and the anonymous game because thy are the only options. I would prefer a straight game that is 1.5 x/ week. Not sure who needs a full week to decide what to do. But if that is the only option then I'll sign up.

If you truly prefer a 1.5/week game then ask for such a game signup to begin. Otherwise, this game will fill with 10 players who truly prefer 1.5/week.

What should happen is the few players who prefer 1/week should either elect to join the faster paced game or wait until 15 players share their preference.

Simply ask Rick to start a regular game signup. That is what happened with the 2nd anonymous game signup and it filled much, much, much, much faster than the 1/week game.
