10 Player Anon or 5 vs 5
#41
yeah have it correct Drogo. Two teams of 5 so would need to communicate with 4 teammates though I would guess not need to over coordinate

#42
Not sure how we pick teams. Random may be fairest unless somebody really wants to play particularly with JF or VBM.
Once we have teams, JF and I will communicate with our teams and conduct a draft.
Probably 1-2-2-1-1-2-2-1-1-2. Then we can have our team members choose their kingdom.
Just guessing here unless JF or someone else has a better idea.
Also there is a new guy who could be our last player.

#43
I agree Vball. I think have HH distribute the players. Then we can start the draft.

As long as the new guys has completed what ever RyVor requires of him and he wants to join up I think great way to start learning some Alamaze. I find the new players generally communicate more than the experienced ones anyway

I generally steer new players to Primeval, but Lojin is welcome to join here and I agree, with either JF or VBM at the helm, it could be an accelerated Alamaze class.  More of a unique individual learning in Primeval, mistakes are more forgiven.  But learning under one of these two is like being thrown into the pool when you are two years old: they will make sure you don't drown, but its a bit like joining the Seals.  I mean that in a good way, I think.   A brand new player will get Chivalry bonus of 25,000 gold.

#45
Just brand new, or all non-podium players?

#46
what defines brand new?

#47
Exactly. Rick will look over the final list and determine who, in fairness, should get the bonus.
Basically, newbies, whether that be defined as brand new or non-podium is up to Rick.

And maybe some gold for VBM since JF is on a hot streak.

#48
It would help me to know who's eligible for the bonus, if you want me to allocate teams.

I think 1-2-2-2-2-1 makes sense. A picks first, B picks last.

Am open to a different order, but not following your shorthand. On your list, the same player picks first and last.
And we each have five picks to make.

A - BB - AA - BB - AA - B

I believe is what he means
