Forgive me as I'm new here, but what does "ready enabled" mean exactly?

Actually new for all of us. Our volunteer programmer, Uncle Mike, has devised a system of ready now button on the order entry page. Once your turn is entered you hit ready I guess. If all players are "ready" before due date, turn will run early.
