I am currently playing the DU, only turn 3. the Setup indicates that the DU receives a level 1 recon of his pop centers. I have not seen this recon on any of my turn results. Can someone explain how this recon works?

that was taken away in new update. its in the notes on UM's posts.

HA used to get it too as I recall. Maybe they still do?

HA wasn’t nerfed only DU according to UM notes:

Kingdom Setup Changes:

a. Druid loses the special ability that grants a L1 recon at all controlled pop centers.
