This is my first diplo game and I wanted to make sure I understood what is allowable. I believe its forum communication only?

My apologies there was a bit of confusion, I was out of the country, and my statement was this turn if amenable the return of my governor would be appreciated. I am happy with our current border. Let me know if you are still willing to make the trade.

In this game you worry about such, but in 6008 you are happy to be one of four attackers of the Nomad? Interesting....

The Nomad king in that game declared war on me first, I only reacted to his moves.

I find myself conflicted on the ethics of this situation. On one hand, I do strive to be an honorable player and striking someone already engaged two-on-one is certainly not the height of honor. On the other hand, there was a recent thread on this very topic where the only voices to speak up said it's a wargame - sometimes you're the windshield and sometimes you're the bug. It was in the spirit of the latter (in addition to other factors) that I made my strike. I have certainly been on the receiving end of this, fighting four foes at the end 5942. I feel fairly confident in saying that anyone who plays Alamaze long enough will find themselves on the short end of the stick sometimes.

I value my reputation more than the outcome of any particular game. If the consensus is that I have dishonored myself by this attack, I will withdraw. But I do wish to hear from the player base to know what the consensus is.
