Do certain map squares always have an enigma? I recon'd a square with a special symbol on the map and it has an enigma present.

The Fire of the Void is always at the same location (NN). I believe it shows as an Enigma encounter. It is the only location where the Black Dragon can recruit a Phoenix brigade, or where artifacts can be destroyed. Also the only fixed location for anything other than cities.

As an interesting note I recently found an Excellent Encounter at NN. After I took it it then listed the Enigma encounter that is the void standard.

Did that happen after one or more Kingdoms had dropped the game, Drogo? Might have been a reassigned artifact in the wild.

Got that artifact last turn in Game 183. I don't think anyone has dropped in that one.

Also, I didn't land on the square I had 795'd the location of the artifact and it was at NN sure enough.

Seems NN can have PCs as well. Interesting. Did not think about artifacts.
