I got my turn in but was very suprised to get the warning at 11pm last night. Checked and the turn listed the time but still I know what you mean. I was not expecting the change of schedule.

I don't know. Maybe SoftLayer (the hosting company) did a server reset that screwed with our scheduled processes. Or maybe this was the first crash processing a game in the year since we've been in java. We certainly didn't just change the schedule as a whim.

Re-running a turn is still a manual process and I entered the wrong due date for turn 17 (which is why it ran today). That is one of the reasons why I never want to re-run a turn regardless of how greatly players complain to have it done for them. Anyway, I'm setting turn 18 to be run on Tuesday Sept 15.

Another argument, and I've said this at least twice before, of having the turn warning come earlier than 2am EST. If you're going to have a warning then have it come the night before at a time when people will see it.
Not sure what the down side would be of making this adjustment.

Adding more email alert notices is on my list but 3rd Cycle has higher priority right now.
I've just emailed all the players in this game (separate emails to each rather than broadcast the entire group since this is an anonymous game) that turn 18 is due Tues Sept 15 and not what is printed on the kingdom report (in case not everyone checks the forum).

I forgot to mention that since turn 17 ran off schedule today and if you missed submitting your orders, let me know by sending an email to Support. I won't re-run the turn but your kingdom may be reimbursed in some manner with Rick's approval. This only applies for those who missed their orders (3/10 kingdoms).
